The Nene Valley Railway (NVR) has announced that Great Western Railway (GWR) 5101 Class No.4144 has arrived at their heritage line on loan.
With thanks to the Great Western Society (GWS) based at Didcot Railway Centre, 4144 can be seen at the NVR hauling a variety of trains and taking part in experience courses. This includes:
Western Goods Experience Day on Friday 18th of June – Unfortunately, this event is sold out, but details can be found on the NVR website.
Normal steam trains starting from the weekend of Saturday the 19th and Sunday 20th of June 2021.
